Jacobs (quadriceps) had 21 tackles (16 solo) in 12 games during the 2018 season.

Analysis: Jacobs landed on injured reserve after suffering the quad injury in early December, but before that had made three starts. That being said, the rookie seventh-round pick saw more than 20 defensive snaps only once, as he served in more of a rotational role even when starting. Still, it was a solid debut season as the 23-year-old enters his first full offseason in the league.

DeLuca had 12 tackles (10 solo), one sack and one force fumble in nine games this season

Analysis: DeLuca was promoted from the Jaguars' practice squad in October and actual received a couple starts towards the end of the season, though he saw only 46 defensive snaps between those two games. Still, it was a solid rookie campaign after going undrafted out of North Dakota State last spring, as he's likely to push for a rotational role in 2019.

Hayden had 46 tackles (39 solo), one sack and one interception in 10 games this season

Analysis: Hayden suffered a toe injury Week 2 that ended up costing him six games, but he otherwise served as the nickel cornerback and fill-in starter during his first season with Jacksonville. The 28-year-old was reliable in his role for the Jaguars when healthy and should serve in a similar role in 2019.

Smoot had four tackles (three solo) in eight games for the Jaguars in 2018.

Analysis: Smoot had a decent rookie year with 20 tackles while playing in all 16 games, but was limited to only eight games in 2018. The 2017 third-round pick served in a rotational role when active and is still looking for his first career sack. The Jaguars are likely to see some changes along their defensive line with their impending salary cap difficulties, and it will be up to Smoot to take advantage.
